Story behind the song
John Daubert, from age 15 to 20, composed various style piano pieces, to which Calore and Paul, (bass and drums), created their parts over two weeks, to have Calore's friend, (Joe Brennan), record in one take on a reel to reel Tascam, in Daubert's 12' by12' bedroom in New Jersey. The three players were at that time also in one of the area's top cover band, "Breakwater Bay". (House band the year before at "Memories Of Margate", owned by famed Philly DJ, Jerry Blavett. They also backed up visiting acts, such as Chuck Berry. This 20 minutes is a complete departure to what they had been performing in many clubs. Enjoy this unique 20 minute collection of varied mood piano, bass and drum music. It's a journey representing one's lifetime, hense the title, "20 Minutes Is A Lifetime".
