Story behind the song
Neil Harrison played the part of John Lennon in the excellent UK Beatles tribute band...The Bootleg Beatles. I saw them a number of times...after one show, I bought Neil's solo album, 'Richmond Hill. It's a wonderful album containing lots of memorable songs. This is one of them. This song is especially influenced by John Lennon I would say. Having said that, it is a great song however you look at it...or hear it. I hope that I've done it justice.

I almost thought this was the "Windmills Of Your Mind" guy, but no, that's Noel Harrison... Very Nice This. I'd never heard it before, nor heard of him. Fine Job.

I'm not familiar with Neil Harrison, but it doesn't surprise me that he was in a Beatles tribute band, this song is very "Beatlesque". Great job on the song - excellent performance and production. Love the guitar work too.

I am not familiar with original. This is a beautiful song. Your production is very clean. Nice work David. Enjoyed. Guess I need to check out original and sounds like a lost Lennon track.
