Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
Andrew McArthur "Greedy" Smith was an Australian vocalist, keyboardist, harmonicist and songwriter with Australian pop/new wave band, Mental As Anything. Smith wrote many of their hit songs including "Live It Up" which peaked at No. 2 on the Australian singles chart. Live it Up (a song pretty well know to UK 80s music listeners) And The Nips Are Getting Bigger, ... not a song about what you probably think it's about ... it's nothing to do with the cold :) ... it's about drinking ... both of these are great songs. The chords are all in standard positions and are all very easy ... no odd Andy Summers style chords ... and it's fun fun to play ... so go and have fun. Intro: B / A / B // B / A / B / Verse; E / B / F#m / A / B (x4) to E ...on 4th time. Bridge: C / G / F - G // C / G / F - G / A / B End section (coda?) E D A E / E D A E repeat to fade-out
