Hey Larry, thanks for the visit, it's great to know that some artists are brought up with the old country music that I was brought up with. This song took me back, and yes your mention of Marty, one of my all time fave along with Hank and all during that era. So this song is great, love it, sorry took me a while to come here but I'm out of town working at other projects. I still love country, it lyrically has soul, I have moved on to other genres but have never forgotten my roots. Very well done here friend, love it!

Wow, Thanks for the recent # 1. My sister died the day this hit the billboard charts. My sister was my music companion and instrumental with this project. There were great studio musicians from Nashville that helped with research works. Ricky Van Shelton bass player Crystal Gale drummer, Hank Williams Jr steel guitar player, And the piano player was a band member from Jd Sumpter and the stamps, who also backed up Elvis Presley and the Jordanairs.
