Acoustic duo with vocal performance from the Jungle Studio in San Pedro, California featuring Shane O'Brien and Tony Sena. Hoopa John was crucial in his influences and assist in my motivation for this track to be recorded.

Early Days of Shane, refers to 1995 thru 2005. These were the discovery years that I recognize as the days of which I learned to put written songs in album form
Press Kits at http://www.reverbnation.com/shaneobrienandobriensedge A New Feature Web Site at www.obriensedge.com/blog/contact/ The Story Behind The Song The Story Behind The Song is a new feature of the obriensedge.com web site. So far there are 3 installments of unique stories regarding songs: “It’s Safe To Be You”, Chapter 2 _ “That’s The Way” and Chapter 3 _ “The Bluesman“. Chapters are loaded with photos highlighting each story, how the song came about and developed to be what it is today on albums by Shane O’Brien and O’Briens Edge. Some Chapters you may find two recorded versions in the Chapters display of that particular song. 1 version of the song as it was originally being written/recorded and the 2nd rendition may be Shane playing it for that Chapter featured as it's highlight. There may be many folks who read and see this new feature and say to themselves “Hey I took that picture” or “I recorded that track with him” or “I was at that gig“. To those particular friends I say “Don't fret, I don't forget"

Story behind the song
Two simple verses that contain volumes of meaningful life... Think This One Over refers to ones self deciding to make the right life long lasting decision, and sticking to it. As a matter of fact there's no shame in this decision makers mind about it and there it is. This individual is loving life clearly through new law abiding sober ways therefore has accepted the high risk of minimally distancing himself from any UN-accepting friends or acquaintances from past times.
Lyrics
Think This One Over _ acoustic duo (03:59) ©2006 Shane O’Brien [p]2012 Jungle Music Productions Performed by Shane O’Brien with guest artist Tony Sena I’m gonna see it now, this whole thing over I’m gonna use now with the best part of my mind I’m gonna see it through now, clear and sober yeah Lay it all down, so clearly on the line You know I’ve been around now, all of these old towns yeah Looking for whatever I might find Singing these songs now, these old songs, oh I can’t go wrong now I guess that’s the way I’ll always try, I’ll try It’s the way it always will be yeah I guess I’ll just try to think, this whole thing over now And keep on pushing now, oh just to see your smile Just gonna keep on now, the side of law and order Babe Hanging out on, on the winnin’ side Playing it cool, I ain’t nobody’s, nobody’s fool now Clean and strong, ya that’s right, all day long I ain’t got a thing now, up my sleeve Babe You know life has been so good to me, life’s been so good to me And it will always be yeah
