Story behind the song
A Pop / Rock song... 'You've Got Happiness To Spare' ('I'm Painting A Picture) Actually, I am painting a picture, (acrylic on canvas) and I thought I'd write a song about it. Lucy of course got in on the act and has been watching me over my shoulder. She's also been giving me silent support whilst I recorded a song about it. I've been recording a fair few 'covers' lately, so I thought it was about time I wrote something of my own. So here you have it.

Amazing how musicians find inspiration. Great idea for a song. Really like the pop rock 60s sound to this. Excellent performance.

could have been on the 'once upon a time in hollywood' soundtrack (can see Margot Robbie doing one of those crazy Gidget dances to this), so good mate! - great sixties sound, it's a go-go! cool as! Guitars are going off and this is a stunning OG, well done!

Retro elements, a touch of psychedelia, some Brit Pop, great guitar & organ work, all wrapped up with your own touch of magic....you've got yourself a winner there! Nice and upbeat, perfect for Summer radio play. Excellent sound, very powerful & clear. A thoroughly enjoyable song!

Thats awesome ! Great Psychedelic sound . Guitars are fantastic . vocals great and 60s Brit pop all round sound with great p percussion and the production is tops ! Like it a lot .
